Because Vernon has a strong presence overseas, it’s not uncommon for us to receive rental requests for businesses in the U.K. This was the case when a London-based integrated event technology agency contacted our team with a request for several dozen iPad rentals for an upcoming event. They expected several hundred attendees for the event, and required a bulk order of iPads in order to accommodate the registered participants for two polling sessions.
What did they need?
The Agency requested their rental for a 2015 polling event in London, for which the agency was a key sponsor. The request was for 75 iPad Minis, pre-loaded with the Agency’s chosen audience response system software. Because the iPads were needed for audience polling during two separate sessions of the event, they required charging cords in case any of the devices needed a charge between assemblies.
With a nearby distribution center in the U.K., Vernon was able to deploy all 75 units on time, and meeting all the conditions set by the client. Because the units were delivered with their requested applications already installed, the Agency was spared valuable time and resources to oversee more critical elements of their event.
