ZVOX has recently made three new additions to its single-cabinet sound system series called Z-base. With the recent additions, the Z-Base selection has expanded to five; with new offerings from ZVOX include Z-base 220, Z-Base 320 and Z-Base 420.
Z-Base 220 is of a DVD player’s size. It fits perfectly under TV sizes of 22-32 inches. The device comes with three speakers of full range. In addition, a 35 watt amplifier and 5.25 inch subwoofer also accompany the system. The cabinet is about 3.4 by 17 by 14.5 inches.
Z-Base 320 is suitable for televisions with screen sizes ranging between 27 to 46 inches. The sound-system includes a powered subwoofer of 5.25 inches, three full-range speakers and a 40 watt amplifier. In addition, PhaseCue II has also been included in the cabinet which measures about 11.5 inches in height and 24 inches in width.
Z-Base 420 is appropriate for TV screen sizes of about 55 inches. It comes with a 45 watt amplifier and five full-range speakers. In addition, there is also a subwoofer of 5.25 inches. The cabinet is about 3.4 inches by 28 inches by 14.5 inches.
All three models feature one optical digital input, two analog audio inputs and a single coaxial digital input. The devices also come with front-panel 3.5mm aux. It has been designed for connecting to iPods, smartphones or MP3 players.
