Ever decide to talk smack about a colleague, a client, or god forbid, your boss over email and accidently hit “Print” or “Reply All” to have your stomach fall to the floor and your heart pop out of your chest upon realization o f your mistake?  Apparently, it’s pretty common.

According to a survey conducted by Chicago-based communication software firm VaporStream, about one in 10 employees said they accidentally leaked confidential business information via email.  On top of that, 60 percent of the respondents said they accidently hit “reply all” in an email meant to be directed to one person, reported Chicago Breaking Business.

VaporStream surveyed more than 100 respondents at companies with over 100 employees, of which over half admitted to accidentally printing out an email with confidential information, while one third subjected private information to the public by misplacing an electronic device like a  smartphone or iPad containing company data.

While human error is unavoidable, Vernon Computer Source does have a full stock of printers available for rent.  It may lead to more employee blunders but will definitely provide solutions to your printing needs, whether you’re looking into short or long-term printer rentals.
