Two Gals Successfully Try Out the Mirroring Function on Some Tablet Rentals

When the second generation iPad came out, we predicted that its mirroring functionality would be a great benefit to our corporate customer base. But before advertising this awesome new feature, we wanted to play around with it ourselves.

So Janice McDuffee and I, the two editors out of the house staff, went down to Vernon’s conference room and began toying with a state-of-the art Samsung projector and our newest inventory arrival, the iPad 2.

What we discovered, upon experimenting, was that the mirroring function worked just as advertised. All we had to do was plug the custom adapter into the tablet – the other end went to the HDMI adapter on the projector, and kaboom!

We were off and running in no time.

It was so easy that we actually video-taped it as we went along. You’ll have to pardon the poor video quality, but we were trying to act like professional journalists in the trenches (i.e., used a Flip).
