The Top Ten Things You Should Probably Not Do to Our iPad Rentals

Erin Monda's picture

We have more iPad rentals in stock than pretty much anybody – and we can make that boast on an international level. As you can tell, we pride ourselves on our iPads. When they go out to customers, we ensure that they are carefully cleaned, packed and covered so that they arrive in pristine condition.

But what happens when our customers don’t return the favor?

It certainly does happen, which is why I am now presenting the five things you should never, ever do to an iPad that you’re renting.

Submerge it in Water

This clever fellow put his iPad into a Ziploc bag and then submerged it fully in a bathroom sink. We’re not sure if he works for Ziploc, or just hates Apple, but it seems to have actually turned out well for him. Bravo, Ziploc.

Use it as a Skateboard

These entrepreneurial spirits used tools to create a skateboard out of an iPad. Then they went and had some fun! Rad!!!!

Run it Over with Your BMW

While you commend your excellent taste in vehicles, we still must protest. Please do not run our iPad rentals over with your car.

Hit it With a Baseball Bat

This headstrong young lad pummelled his iPad with a baseball bat, garnering him 2 million YouTube views. Congrats, little Johnny. You just ruined a coveted $500 device.

Shoot it

Please do not shoot our iPads. It does not end well.

Put it in a Blender

Though the officious looking gentleman in a lab coat and goggles might compel you, do not follow his example. It is statistically proven that iPads prefer not to be placed in blenders.

Feed it to Some Tigers

It seems like the iPad is much beloved by big cats everywhere, but its your job to be the responsible adult here.

Cook it

If your name is Jake Gyllenhaal, you can use the iPad as an ingredient in your tasty recipes. If you are not Jake Gyllenhaal, do not bother (only he can get away with it).

Melt It

Just because you don’t plan on eating it doesn’t mean you should melt an iPad either.

Give it to Gary Busey

No. Just no. And we didn't want to paste a picture of it up here. (http://twitter.com/#!/Garybuseysipad).
