Social Media: A New Way to ‘Hate’

Is the age of speeches, rallies and undercover WhiteHouse politics over? Will the entrance of social media into the world of politics be good for the men who decide how we are governed? Suddenly it becomes reality that Internet proficiency, or mobility with technology, may be just as important as any political tool.

Now that social skills and Internet media are needed for politicians, campaigns are being twisted and turned to fit into the latest technology for the younger votes of the American population. We now have new "routes" for criticism by younger voters and Internet users to bash the men who might not be "bash-worthy."

Take for instance the Republican Social Media website, which literally takes every tweet related to the Republican Party and posts it continuously on the site. It becomes apparent that many of these tweets and posts are jokes, if not bashing republican candidates and politicians. The same can be said for the Democratic Social Media website as well. However, we realize that sites like these are a necessary evil, and must be combated with the good sites like facebook campaign pages, and websites showcasing multiple points of view. Politicians have to keep up with the Internet trend or be lost in the sea of young voters, which would make IT rentals and technology proficiency a must.

What could this say about our new shift toward online campaigns to sway Internet voters? This might not be a wise decision, and it might not be a healthy turn of events even if it is necessary. We could see Twitter pages of fake politicians to spread rumors and misleading information throughout the Internet.

In the age where it’s slowly disappearing, it seems some of us will miss the personal representation and contact between politicians and their people. However there is a need to sway in this socialized direction. To not follow the curve would mean to be left behind, and at least with IT Rental and anything Internet related Vernon Computer Source is up to date.
