Lenovo, the China based electronic giant, is striving hard to have a strong footing in the US market. The company said that it is aware that it needs the right partners in order to strengthen its presence in the US. Yang Yuanqing, the CEO of Lenovo, recently said that the US market is quite challenging and completely new, and therefore the company needs strong and reliable partners.

Lenovo, which is the number 2 PC maker globally, is among the top-five PC manufactures in the United States. Vernon Computer Source has multiple PCs from Lenovo available in its computer rental fleet.

In the recent years, Lenovo experienced significant growth in the US market because of its aggressive pricing policy. The company had slashed the prices of its PCs, heeding to the advice of the retailers in the US. Its PC business in the US was also augmented as it acquired the PC division of IBM.

According to Yuanqing, the company has invested much in the PC business and so it is imperative that it takes necessary steps to expand itself in the US.

Lenovo sells only desktops, laptops, and tablets in the US, although the company manufactures other products like phones and TVs. It has recently introduced a cloud service in China, similar to iCloud from Apple. However, tablets from Lenovo failed to attract much customer attention in the US.

The company has indicated that it is more focused on improving the PC business now, instead of bringing other products like TVs or phones to the US market.
