When we first laid eyes upon the Getac X500, we were a little taken aback. We’d heard it was a tough laptop, but we didn’t know it was this tough.

It’s military grade on the exterior, existing within a pretty serious looking case.

On the inside, however, it has all of the specifications necessary for superior performance. A 2.66GHz Intel Calpella Core i7 processor guarantees speed in processing, but there are other features (like the 8GB of DDR3 RAM and the 320 GB SATA hard disc).

Not bad.

Those kind of classifications don’t hurt for  gaming, either, since most of the gamers I know require an intensely-performing computer that can withstand a few Dr. Pepper spills (although we are not condoning spilling soda on our laptop rentals).
