Reports suggest that Asus is expected to release a new netbook in 2012. This completely rules out market assumptions that Asus will cease the manufacture of netbooks.

The new device to be released from Asus is the Eee PC 1215B. It is based on Brazos chipset from AMD, and will feature specs included in its predecessor, the previously launched Eee PC 1215B.

The netbooks will be fitted with either Radeon HD 6290 discrete core or Radeon HD 6320 customer preferences. The chips will support superior graphics features – fitted with Radeon HD 6320/6290—thus, the device will make game-playing enjoyable. The Eee PC 1215B will be provided with DirectX 11 support, enabling users to access excellent 3D features when playing video games.

Asus Eee PC 1225B will also be fitted with an HDMI port. Through it, HD 1080p content can be enjoyed in HD display.

When connected to a home theatre system, the device will enable 7.1 surround sound playback. The new netbook will also come with LED backlit WXGA 11.6 inch screen with a resolution of1366 x 768 pixels.
