Apple Computer Rentals With Lion iOS Installed Don’t Need Courage
Let it never be said that Apple doesn’t understand its market. And while its competition might be feeling a little intimidated and in need of a trip to the wizard, Apple’s new Lion iOS doesn’t need it – it’s got too much of a reputation and a dedicated customer base bolstering it. The company makes a great variety of quality products, such as MacBooks, Mac Pros and iMacs – and all of them tend to be favored world-wide by designers and developers alike. Mac’s next generation of OS X is called Lion (considered to be version 10.7) and it seems to be slated for release this summer. Lion comes with a slew of new features, such as Launchpad, which will serve as a landing page for organizing and launching apps. It’s sort of like home base. And when considering Launchpad’s design, Apple took a few aspects from one of its more historically successful products, the iPad table. All users need to do is click on the Launchpad icon and their regular desktop fades away to reveal an area where all your app selections are displayed, full-screen. Ahh, full-screen. This is another area where there have been some visible improvements. When apps are accessed on a Lion-powered Mac, they will open full-screen. Another tablet-inspired innovation has led to further development of multi-touch gesture technology. Now gesture-based responses will be more natural and fluid, leading to rubber band scrolling and full screen swiping. A new Mission Control option will combine some traditional Mac OS X features (Dashboard, Exposé and Spaces) in one easy to access location. And there will reportedly be TRIM support for solid-state drives (SSDs). Lion’s Versions feature lets users track each step of a document along the way – it’s great to see progress on an image or presentation as it’s created. And, with a click, previous images can be brought back to the foreground for comparison. I can see why designers or video editors, in particular, would be prone to rent an Apple product with this iOs loaded. But, as a lazy person, another feature has the greatest appeal for me. It’s called Dock Menus, and it allows users assign a free-floating dock containing their favorite programs As with all of our Apple computer rentals, we will ensure that our customers get the latest iOS installed at their request – and we look forward to welcoming Lion to our stable. |
